Google smart contact lens

Recently Google has introduced its new project ' Google Smart Contact Lens '. Now From the official blog of Google, this smart lens will help monitor blood sugar levels using a tiny wireless chip and miniaturized glucose sensor. Such an incredible step by Google.

But still they are in the testing mode and looking for partners with whom they can work and build this exceptional gadget. In their post they said that " We’re not going to do this alone: we plan to look for partners who are experts in bringing products like this to market. These partners will use our technology for a smart contact lens and develop apps that would make the measurements available to the wearer and their doctor. "

Google also confirms on their blog that this still needs more work and they are in talk with FDA. Google's step in wearable tech is sign of the wearable tech future. Having said that will ever this smart contact lens be able to make the market?

  1. What a technology, these people haven’t left the contact lenses as well. First there were only single glasses followed with specs then contact lenses having various varieties within it. Well never thought of such digital innovation, but frankly speaking I’m quite happy with my freshlook colorblends toric contact lenses that are very pleasing and comfortable for my eyes.
